The TLVA Dining-In is essentially a hybrid event that combines the best qualities of a Military Ball and Military Dining-In ceremony.  Traditionally, a Dining-In event is specifically reserved for the soldiers in a unit, while the Military Ball is also open to spouses/dates.  Our event allows anyone to attend--not just TLVA members--yet still embraces the spirit of the Dining-In.  Each of you will get an inside look at some of the traditional military customs and rituals, yet the overall purpose of the event is for everyone to laugh and have a great time.  The event ultimately contains a dichotomy between serious and silly, but I think it provides a great opportunity for everyone to gain an appreciation for military culture while also getting a chance to cut loose.
